The Veronicas attending MTV Australia Awards

It has been announced that Australian pop/rock sensations, The Veronicas will be attending the MTV Australia Awards.  The sisters will be Presenting Timberland with MTV Australia's first-ever "International Music Artist Of The Year" Award.  MTVawards.com.au have posted:   

Now I'm not entirely sure what all that means, or what relevance

walking out to the car and back had to "homegrown rock cred", But I

am hoping this is some code for "were breaking out the gaffa tape"

and staying well away from the electrical tape.
