The Getaway Plan 'Other Voices, Other Rooms' National Tour

As one of the hottest young bands around, THE GETAWAY PLAN,

get set to unleash their much talked-about debut album, they have announced a

string of tour dates to celebrate the release. 

No on can dispute the amount of noise THE GETAWAY PLAN have

made in 2007. Between countless tours including national supports for both The

Used and My Chemical Romance, the band took a 3-month trip to Florida to record

their debut album “Other Voices, Other Rooms”, with US super-producer James

Paul Wisner (Underoath, New Found Glory, Dashboard Confessional). The intense

recording session has already produced the Channel V and Triple J hit single

“Streetlight”, and the forthcoming single “Where The City Meets the Sea”, which

the band debuted on MTV’s Live at the Lair program earlier this year.

But 2008 promises to be an even bigger year for the young

Melbourne quartet, as they gear up for the February 9 release of their debut

album “Other Voices, Other Rooms” via Boomtown Records. The album will no doubt

become one of the most surprising releases of 2008, proving a maturity in

songwriting that most bands dream to achieve.

THE GETAWAY PLAN will tour nationally throughout February

and March as part of their “Other Voices, Other Rooms” tour, presented by

Triple J’s Home and Hosed. The tour will take in smaller clubs in each capital

city for more intimate shows that are sure to sell out! Along for the ride will

be Perth’s Elora Danan and Melbourne up-comers Stealing O’Neal.
