Velvet Revolver frontman arrested for DUI

Accoridng to TMZ.com, Velvet Revolver frontman (and Ex- Stone Temple Piliots vocalist) Scott Weiland was arrested late last month for driving under the influence of alcohol. Apparently he crashed his car while driving on a highway in L.A on November 21^st at 6:15 pm. Weiland was released on $40,000 bail and is due back in court on December 13^th.

The band was due to tour Australia this week, but cancelled last Friday.  So I guess that clears that mystery up.
