Official Press Release:

What is SNITCH?

SNITCH is knowing what's cool before anyone else does.  SNITCH is dancing so much you can not walk for days.  SNITCH is hanging with the coolest kids in town.  SNITCH is waking up Friday morning not really sure what happened, how you got home or who the person lying next to you is, but knowing you had the time of your life.  SNITCH is the coolest new alternative club night in Brisbane. And the word is about to get out.

Responsible for the most successful alternative club nights (Next, Hot Damn, Plastic, Chrome Hearts and Bang) in Sydney and Melbourne, Destroy All Lines is about to crash Brisbane in a massive way.  Launching Thursday 29 November SNITCH combines the best live bands from Australia and abroad, killer drink prices, loads of giveaways and DJs across 3 rooms playing the hottest punk, emo, pop, hardcore, indie, 80s, metal and heavy anthems till the early hours every Thursday night.

The Grand Opening kicks off with hot rockers The Getaway Plan and Brisbane pop rockers A Year To Remember playing live.  Since the release of their 'Hold Conversation' EP in April 2006, The Getaway Plan have made the type of noise only a band of significant talent and quality can make. Hit single 'If The Suspense Doesn't Kill Us, Something Else Will' remained in the Australian Independent Records Top 10 for six months and the current smash 'Streetlight' from their upcoming debut album 'Other Voices, Other Rooms' (due February 2008) is receiving exhaustive rotation on Triple J. After touring the country nationally with bands including The Used, Parkway Drive and Taking Back Sunday, The Getaway Plan drop in to SNITCH in between stadium shows supporting My Chemical Romance.

Leading up to the launch, SNITCH is on the lookout for people keen to get involved and spread the word to receive cash, free drinks and free entry in return.  Email info@destroyalllines.com to register interest and get the full details. For band submissions, please email http://mel@destroyalllines.com/.

SNITCH launches Thursday 29 November at Club Phoenix, 235 Edward St Brisbane, with live performances by The Getaway Plan and A Year To Remember.  Doors open at 9pm and entry is or on a host list.  For more info check www.myspace.com/snitchbrisbane or www.destroyalllines.com.
