Formed in 2001, The Bled soon set the standard for their genre with the release of Pass the Flask in 2003. Their breakout disc, 2005’s Found In The Flood, cemented the band’s reputation and critics proclaimed them to be musically and lyrically ahead of their peers. SPIN called The Bled “The next big thing”, while METAL EDGE said, “With The Bled, you get uncompromising brilliance and hostility in equal measure” and ALTERNATIVE PRESS included Silent Treatment as one of the “Most anticipated in 2007.”

Silent Treatment is the band’s third full-length album and was recorded earlier this year with producer Brian McTernan who has worked with Thrice, From Autumn to Ashs, Hidden Plain

View and Senses Fail. The resulting 11-song set is an explosive document of The Bled’s trademark ability to join unexpected melodies and precision playing with the heaviest of rhythms. The first single “Shadetree Mechanics,” is currently streamed on the bands Myspace page.
