In news sure to thrill hip hop fans, Illusive Entertainment and Frontier Touring are pleased to announce the return of hip hop heavyweight Xzibit to our shores in June.  Xzibit will perform shows in Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide on his first tour Down Under since 2005.

Xzibit is one of music's most proficient artists. With over six million albums sales to his name, he has been heralded as one of the most skilled emcees in the game. But X has always looked above and beyond, lending himself to video games, cinema and television. From his wildly successful MTV show Pimp My Ride, to starring in films with Samuel Jackson, Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen, Xzibit has become a household name.

After releasing his debut album, At the Speed of Life, in 1996, X quickly developed a loyal underground following but it wasn't until 2000's Restless that he crossed over into the mainstream market. Selling in excess of three million albums and receiving platinum certification in the US, X truly marked his place in hip hop.

Xzibit returns to Australia and New Zealand in support of his latest release, Full Circle (out now through Illusive Sounds), which has been proclaimed by many as his most poignant work to date. Featuring appearances from The Game, DJ Quick and T-Pain, Full Circle has already spawned three singles to a rapturous response from both critics and fans.

Rolling Stonedescribed Full Circle as "appealingly matter-of-fact, featuring big, block-rocking beats and bulldozer flow." XXL were similarly complimentary: "Reminiscent of his early work, Full Circle has X skillfully describing the world around him with vivid clarity."

Xzibit's 2005 Australian tour took him from coast to coast, blowing the minds of fans as he put on a hip hop spectacular. Urban Hitz raved: "...the show was upbeat and hectic, never wavering in energy from start to finish... Xzibit has shown he's more then just one of the carbon copy rappers who seem to be making more regular appearances on today's hip hop scene. He's definitely an artist well worth the price of a concert ticket."

Joining Xzibit on stage will be legendary hip hop artist Defari. Originally a member of Tha Alkaholiks (alongside Xzibit), Defari is one of the most respected, and renowned, underground rappers in the world. The addition of special guest Defari will ensure tickets to see Xzibit this June are the hottest in town.
