Chase Manhattan break up

Melbourne rockers Chase Manhattan have posted the following blog on their Myspace:

Hey all,

For personal reasons that no one outside of Chase needs to know, we are ending the band.

Our final show will be on Friday May 4th w/ Irrelevant and The Amity Affliction. Unfortunately this show is 18+ so a massive apology to all the underage kids that support us. We've always had an amazing time playing AA shows and we would've loved to have gone out with a show to all you kids, it just wasn't meant to be.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has had something to do with this band over the last 2 years. Anyone who we've played with, hung out with, lent us gear, given us a place to crash, done ANYTHING for our band - we appreciate it more than you could know....

If you haven't already, check out our EP. It's a split with Say Nothing (QLD), so even though Chase is dead and buried you can still support an amazing band. Expect to hear big things from Say Nothing.

Thanks again and we hope to see you on the 4th of May.
