The Used sell out (Again!)

Australian fans have once again proven just how much they love The Used – snapping up every last ticket to their Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney concerts in just hours.

Brisbane was first cab off the rank, selling out within just 10 minutes of going on sale!

The high speed sellouts are reminiscent of the bands very first Australian visit in 2005, when they sold out Sydney's Hordern Pavilion in just one hour, a feat almost unheard of by a group with no commercial airplay at the time.

Two years on the band are now indiscriminately adored by both the non-commercial and commercial and anticipation is high for the May 19 release of their new album Lies For The Liars (Warner Music).  New single TheBird And The Worm is scheduled to hit local airwaves next week.

Already Frontier has been inundated with additional show enquiries from desperate fans however, as previously warned, an extension of the tour is not possible due to promotional commitments the band already have in place for their new album.

The Used have hinted they may return to Australia before the end of the year…so watch this space!
