New Devin Townsend cd

Metal god Devin Townsend (Strapping Young Lad, The Devin Townsend Band) has announced the title of his next solo album - "Ziltoid the Omniscient". According to Devin, the new material will be a cross between S.Y.L & The Devin Townsend Band. Apparently he is expected to take care of singing, guitar, bass, synthesizers and sampling duties, as well as mixing and producing the CD all on his lonesome.

Devin also stated on the Hevydevy forums that he will be using "the drumkit from Hell" for the upcoming release which was of course used for Meshuggah's album "Catch  Thirty-Three".
