Out in April!

Propagandhi are set to release their very first live DVD trough G7 Welcoming Committee Records this coming April. The DVD will raise money for the Grassy Narrows Blockade and the Middle East Children's Alliance. G7 has isssued the following statement:

"As you might suspect, in true Propagandhi fashion, this project is a highly professional and meticulously planned production collection of technically disparate elements haphazardly strung together after the fact 100% DIY-style with the kind of perseverance that only a floundering, half-assed, know-nothing home recording/film editing enthusiast can endure. We hope you enjoy the end result: a ludicrously edited 62 minutes of recklessly handicam-ed songs (recorded at The Zoo in Winnipeg in July 2003) riddled with the requisite cartoonish blunders and bewildering non-sequitorial banter that we've all come to know and love over the past 16 years of incomprehensibly precipitous live engagements.

We especially hope you'll check this puppy out for the supplemental features: Two full-length documentaries: Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land: U.S. Media and the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict and As Long As the Rivers Flow: the Story of the Grassy Narrows Blockade. These give proper context to the whole project and offer information and analysis that, mysteriously, you won't be witnessing in the corporate-owned media anytime soon. Of interest to long-time G7 Radio listeners: a pointless commentary track by Chris and Derek, which is basically a 62-minute episode of said radio show. Photo galleries by photojournalists Jon Elmer and Jon Schledewitz, covering life in the Gaza Strip and the Grassy Narrows Blockade respectively. Overall there's over 4 hours of material on this thing. If we get it together enough we'll post a trailer soon. Otherwise - go out and buy it on April 24th! If you don't, you're basically racist."
