Trevor Strnad speaks about new material and replacing drummers.

Recently, The Black Dahlia Murder frontman Trevor Strnad spoke to MTV.com about their upcoming album .

“I think this third one's going to be a beast," he said.



"Writing and looking for a drummer simultaneously has been a pain in the ass," he said of the group's search for a new man behind the skins following the split with Zach Gibson early last year. "We're trying to keep things on schedule. We have the album written, largely. We just need to get the drummer in and work everything out with him."

Strnad stated that Black Dahlia has auditioned several candidates but said finding a new drummer has been touch "because we have a bad reputation now. When we lost Zach, he slandered us pretty bad" on his Myspace page, according to Strnad. Gibson wrote that the band was "nothing without me", "were nothing until I joined" and that some band members didn't care "about anything accept making money."
