Job For A Cowboy has officially announced the latest addition to their line-up, Jon "The Charn" Rice. Rice has been playing drums for about 7 years. After completing a year at Capital's Conservatory of Music, majoring in Music Business with a focus on Percussion, Jon left to pursue a career in music.

JFAC guitarist, Ravi Bhadriraju had this to say about his new bandmate: "Jon's Badass. His demo was awesome and we felt that after meeting and talking to other drummers that his personality fit best with ours. In addition to an awesome drummer, we needed someone who wants what we want and that is to tour as much as possible and he is down with that. We have no plans to stop and I'm glad we get to do that with the comfort of knowing we brought the right dude with us and that he feels the same."

New drummer, Jon agrees: "For me it's a dream come true. It's one of those things where you take a chance and send a demo over and then your life is changed. I'm really looking forward to living on the road. I've lived in Pittsburgh forever and starting in a few weeks I will be living the dream and seeing the world."

Job For A Cowboy recently completed work on their Metal Blade Records debut which will be out in the spring/summer of 2007. The band is now gearing up for a month long trek with The Acacia Strain, See You Next Tuesday, Daath and Psyopus. The tour starts January 12th in Menomonee Falls, WI.
