Tom Delonge, once a member of Blink 182 and

now waxing lyrical about his latest band, Angels and Airwaves has

slammed his former band onstage, declaring “I do not want to be another

bullsh*t pop band, with some bullsh*t pop songs, while you’re driving

your ****ing bullsh*t car and sing along to it like your a 14 year old

girl” at an Angels and Airwaves show in June this year.

Delonge is fond of grand statements, calling new band Angels and

Airwaves “the greatest rock’n'roll revolution of this generation” and

“the best music made in decades” as well as being “much more powerful,

emotional and melodic than Box Car and Blink put together.”
