More 50 Cent More 50 Cent

American rapper, actor, producer and entrepreneur 50 Cent is temporarily hosting a talk show.

He has been looped in to cover for Drew Barrymore on The Drew Barrymore Show while she recovers from COVID-19.

In an Instagram post, the 50 First Dates star posted a selfie from her bed with her cat and the caption, "I've got covid and lucky the cat! Im good and will be back soon. In the meantime @helloross and @50cent are taking over. So only good news to report! Maybe some other special surprises too!"

Her co-host, Ross Matthews, will fill in for her alongside 50 Cent.

Matthews responded, "LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! I'll keep your seat warm for you until you come back. Rest. Take care of you. Watch the new season of The Crown. Text me if you need anything."

50 Cent has recently appeared in a main role in the television series Power, which plays on Stan in Australia. He also executively produced the show for six seasons and has a producing role in its spin-offs.

He had a recurring role in the series For Life, a legal drama series about a man in prison for a crime he didn't commit. While in prison, he became an attorney and helped overturn over 20 wrongful convictions before proving his own innocence. 50 Cent played the antagonist, Cassius Dawkins.

The In Da Club rapper last performed headline shows in Australia in 2018 and was "greeted like a superstar by the adoring masses" after an eleven-year absence; he briefly returned in 2019 for RNB Fridayz.

At his concert with Baker Boy and A.B. Original at Melbourne Showgrounds in 2018, we wrote, "50 Cent might not be much of a talker, but lets the music speak for itself to remind everyone why he was once the King Of New York hip hop in the early '00s."
