Have you ever wanted to hear Joel Birch fronting a metallic hardcore band? No, I can'y say that I have either, personally. But that's what you get with Cursed Earth's newest song, 'Torch'.

Barely 90-seconds long, it's a short and blistering hardcore track armed with the usual Cursed Earth song-writing methodology: aggression and sick riffs. If Amity and Joel going softer and doing different things of late with albums like 'Misery' isn't really your cup of tea, then maybe this new song will be.

Cursed Earth guitarist Kieran Molloy mentioned that this collab came together about a month out from release, with Joel reaching out to them to see if any tracks were left for him to rage about religion and Catholicism, sharing:

"Putting the most commercially successful singer on the most raw and pissed off song on this record is exactly the kind of thing we wanted to do with this project, so it was serendipitous."

'Torch' follows their last single, 'Fear', both are which are culled from Cursed Earth's upcoming mixtape, 'The Deathbed Sessions', which drops May 31st via UNFD.
