While I love both old and new Saosin, there's something awesome about seeing those two worlds collide. On December 16th, during the first night of their holiday Glass House shows in California, Saosin performed two classics - 'You're Not Alone' and 'Seven Years' - with former vocalist, Cove Reber.

Back in 2014, the band actually had an on-stage "reunion" with Cove - who originally left in 2010 - yet he didn't sing with them at the time. Here he does, and it's a really heart-warming moment. This is one of those huge "fan" moments; a one-off instance between two different eras that puts a smile on anyone who's loved Saosin's music. That's how I felt watching this personally, and I don't think I'm alone in that.

As for current/original Saosin frontman, Anthony Green, he does bass duty for 'You're Not Alone', before trading vocals along with Cove for the old-school 'Seven Years'. It's also rather amusing seeing bassist Chris Sorenson showing Anthony via hand-signs how to play 'You're Not Alone' in real time. "It's such an honour to share a band and all of these songs with Cove", Anthony sweetly mentions to fans halfway through. I'm not crying, you're crying!

Whether it's down to time passing or because Cove now has Dead American, he seems genuinely happy to be singing these songs. At one point, he states: "this is what made me fall in love with Saosin". It's also lovely to see Cove smiling and hugging his old bandmates, as fans belt back the lyrics at the band. After watching this video a few times now, it honestly feels like if they'd performed 'Voices' in this manner, the crowd would've died from excitement overload.
