You know, I'd love to see Frontierer do a full, in-depth video breakdown of their writing and production process. Mainly because I just don't how the fuck these Scottish madmen do it! With the exception of your Converge's, Car Bomb's, Rolo Tomassi's, and The Armed, there are very few other bands in heavy music right now creating art that's as bewildering and as complex as what this band here makes.

On July 27th, Frontierer are set to melt minds the world over with the release of their hotly-anticipated second album, the Bandcamp-dominating and PayPal-breaking 'Unloved'. And if it's anything at all like their 2015 debut, 'Orange Mathematics', then we're all in for a real treat. Yet with two of this new LP's 14-tracks having been released so far, I think we'll indeed be looking at one of the year's best heavy records.

The record's most recent single 'Glitcher', much like the album's first single 'Tumoric' before it last month, is some of the most ludicrous extreme metal you're likely to hear in all of 2018. It's another hectic dosage of crazed math-metal shot right into your veins; kinda like main-lining the entire Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza discography all at once. It's groovy and riffy, yet jarring and chaotic, but that's exactly why this track works so bloody well.

Check out 'Glitcher' below. Do not adjust your television set.

ICYMI: some of Frontierer's members also play in another ridiculous band by the name of Sectioned. Read my review of their latest work, 'Annihilated', over here. It's good shit!
