Butterfingers To Embark On 'Bullet To The Head' Tour

Two-time ARIA nominated Aussie hip-hop/rock act, Butterfingers, have returned from a near ten-year hibernation with their newest single, 'Bullet To The Head'.

Two-time ARIA nominated Aussie hip-hop/rock act, Butterfingers have returned from a near ten-year hibernation with their newest single, 'Bullet To The Head'. In typical Butterfingers fashion, 'Bullet To The Head' crosses over multiple genres (hip-hop, punk, rock, electro, pop, etc.) and tries hard to escape from ever being placed into a box, with it all being a bitter hot take about the stresses of modern life.

The returning Aussie group are also just about to embark on a national headline tour in support of this new single, with Sydney MC (and Big Village label chief) Rapaport in tow for the run. Vocalist “Evil” Eddie excitedly said of the tour that there are "...spots on this tour that we haven’t played for 7-10 years and considering how pumping our recent shows have been, and the kind of response we are getting from the new single, we’re just chomping at the bit to get out there and tear it up!"

However, they will be a man down, as the band's usual drummer, Damien Green, is still recovering from a broken elbow acquired from a terrible skateboarding accident that occurred just two days before their NYE extravaganza show in Darwin. Replacing him for this run is Tony McCall (Wolfmother, Resin Dogs, Jamiroquai) to ensure that the show does go on.

Beyond this upcoming tour, expect a brand new album full of genre-switching tunes to eventually drop in 2018 from Butterfingers.
