After the strong upward trajectory of Brisbane's Columbus over the past couple years, the pop-punk three-piece have just recently announced that their second LP - 'A Hot Take On Heartbreak' - is most certainly on its way this May. And they've got the very first taste of it out now with their new single, 'Don't Know How To Act'.

Through channelling an insane amount of Weezer vibes and cramming themselves into a small shower for the track's music video (I'm just impressed they could fit Daniel Seymour's drum kit in there), 'Don't Know How To Act' is a self-deprecating tale of not appreciating a good thing until it's gone and realising that something is actually too good to be true. Though honestly, with this new song, while it's filled with hooks, summery vibes and shows off Columbus's usual boyish charms, it just doesn't quite hit the spot for me like their 2016 debut LP 'Spring Forever' and their damned solid 2015 EP 'Home Remedy' did.

So, what's your vibe on it? Does it live up to what you want and what you expect from Columbus or are feeling the cold shoulder with this new single?

'A Hot Take On Heartbreak' drops May 25th via UNFD.
