To be perfectly blunt, I don't care what someone's gender, sexual orientation, or race is when it comes to music. I mean, I don't listen to Jesus Piece because vocalist Aaron Heard is black; no, I listen to Jesus Piece because they're a fucking fantastic hardcore band. Likewise, I also don't listen to Press Club because singer Natalie Foster is a woman; no, I listen to Press Club because they're easily one of the best up and coming rock bands in Australia lately.

However, as it is International Women's Day today and as the music industry is so often skewed towards men, I wanted to share and celebrate with you all some fucking great bands and artists featuring women; bands and artists that myself and the rest of KYS support and really do hope to see succeed.
