Before Endless Heights new album, 'Vicious Pleasure', drops this Friday (February 16th), the band are locking in headline shows around the country for April and May. (PC: Jared Leibowitz).

Starting at the tail end of April, the Sydney band's headline tour will be a homecoming for the five-piece after a trek across Europe with U.K. melodic hardcore heart-string pullers Casey in March & April. With the group's last headlining run selling out shows across Launceston, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Wollongong, these upcoming shows will as always, be ones to remember.

Speaking with us for first Aussie Feature of 2018, vocalist Joel Martorana said that he's "...just tried to heal through this record", explaining that the record was also a very hard process for the band.

We were really burnt out from touring constantly, and Jem [Siow, guitar], who along with myself had been the main creative force, was like “What’s the point? What are we doing?” We were driving to Melbourne for a show and I remember thinking ‘I would feel so cheated if we didn’t do one more record’. There are so many things we haven’t done yet as a band that we want to do, like tour America and Japan and we always assumed that would happen, and suddenly, I thought ‘Shit, that might not.’ I managed to cull them into doing one more record, Jem reluctantly so, but we just weren’t writing fast enough.

It [the writing] went from reluctant to ‘let’s put everything into it because this might be it.’ If you felt uncomfortable, you were on the right track. Even being a band felt uncomfortable. That’s what I love about the band; it’s just raw honesty and rogue chat at times, but it’s so real.

Joining Endless Heights on this tour will be special guests in the form of Melbourne alternative rockers Harbours and the synthy, dreamy indie tunes of Adelaide newcomers, Paradise Club.

Expect our review of the band's new record to drop this week (spoiler warning: it's really good). Check out the video for recent single, 'Come A Little Closer', below:
