Sydney alternative/indie up and comers Paravelle last week released a stellar second single in the shape of ‘Along The Fires’. And goddamn, it's good!

Engineered and Mixed by Phan Sjarif at The Parliament Studios, this new track is an atmospheric, widescreen post-rock/indie rock jam with crisp vocals and touching lyrics; one that’s somehow both joyously upbeat and oddly haunting at the same time.

Quite clearly inspired by the likes of The Paper Kites, The War on Drugs, the ever-popular Gang of Youths and worldwide star Bon Iver, Paravelle have a familiar but no less killer sound on their collective hands. It's at both times vintage but modern as well, finding a happy medium between new and old sounds.

With last year’s solid single ‘Cascasdes’ and now with this newer, quite frankly better gem out, the supposed debut EP that this NSW quartet are working hard away on could be something very special indeed. But in the meantime, find out why I've been frothing 'Along The Fires' lately below:
