The next best thing for Modern Baseball fans!

Slaughter Beach, Dog is an odd name, yes, for those clued in, it's the moniker of the new project from Jake Ewald, one of the famed Modern Baseball's two singer/songwriters. See, after Modern Baseball announced their hiatus back in 2016 - a blow to many fans of a band who was really going places - Slaughter Beach, Dog has become Ewald's main creative musical vehicle, giving him a chance to go all in on developing as a songwriter and as a person.

In a fitting tour package, Ewald's side project has been announced as the main support for Manchester Orchestra's 2018 Australian tour, (yes. they're touring in case you didn't know), giving this MoBo boy the perfect opportunity to show off new material form his project's debut LP, 'Birdie'.
