"It's such a legendary record."

Currently, on tour in Australia with their longtime friends in the almighty Pennywise, punk rock heroes The Bronx are the very special guest supports for this recent tour, performing classic tracks and new cuts from their fifth self-titled album. The Cali punk group, especially their vocalist Matt Caughthran, have so much for the love that the headliners are performing each night in our country, 1997's 'Full Circle'; one of the best and most personal Pennywise albums of the lot.

Briefly speaking to us about his profound love for the Pennywise record in questions, Caughthran talks about this milestone record, his love for it as a long time fan, and the circumstances around it.

"It's such a legendary record", states Caughthran.

"We were all fans of it, and we were devastated when Jason [Thirsk, bassist] passed away. These guys losing him, it's like losing family you know? When that record came out and as a big fan of the band I was really really excited to hear as I knew it was gonna be a very heavy record. Not only that, but I knew that there would be a lot of love in it."

He continues. "'Full Circle' is obviously now a classic; it’s absolutely amazing. From start to finish, there are so many great songs on that record for me. I think it’s probably one of, if not the finest moment for the band. I actually came up on the band's first two records -  the self-titled and 'Unknown Road'. I was just listening to so much awesome punk rock music at that time, it was such a great time for the genre. And with 'Full Circle', it’s easily their most vulnerable album and it's probably their best too."

"It’s gonna be so awesome to watch them play it every single night!"
