Brissy instrumental prog/post-rock lords, Balloons Kill Babies will be wrapping up their recent run of shows come the evening of November 30th at The Flamin' Galah, Brisbane. The Queensland trio with also be joined by co-headliners, the moody New Zealand multi-instrumentalists Spook The Horses, for what will be their first Aussie trip despite living so damn close to us. The show will act as a celebration of the former's praise-ridden, solid sophomore EP 'Prodromal' (released back on September 22nd).

Both bands will also be joined by prog-metallers The Stranger who will be playing tracks from their 2017 self-titled debut album as well as "space-metal shredlords" Dr. Parallax. Not only that,  but this show will also see performances from the new Spook The Horses record, 'People Used To Live Here', out November 10th via Pelagic Records.

Balloons Kill Babies have developed a strong reputation for their raw and emotionally-charged live performances, a high achievement considering there's no proper vocals or lyrics in their songs. So expect to be treated to a few surprises as BKB pulls out all the stops for their beloved hometown! Grab your tickets for the show here (they're only $10) and check out the lovely cinematic clip for their standout tune, 'Feb 25', below:
