What I can only assume would be Emperor Palpatine's favourite metal band, The Senate, are the one and only Star Wars-themed slam/deathcore band in The Outer Rim that you didn't know you needed in your life.

This arguably gimmicky but nonetheless extreme metal brainchild of vocalist Rheese "BREE BREE" Peters (ex-A Night In Texas), and drummer Raymond Martin recently released their new online projects debut song, 'The Bloated One'. As casual and die-hard Star Wars fans might guess from the name, the track is about the slave-owning fat and grotesque cuck-pest, Jabba The Hut.
The heavy AF 'The Bloated One' comes from the Sydney-Brisbane two-piece's debut EP, 'Tales From A Galaxy Far, Far Away' (which will be properly available sometime soon but don't quote me on that).
Now, despite how gruesome, heavy and force-chokingly brutal this debut track is, the following lyrical gem" just made me laugh and shake my head: "Jabba the cuck/Jabba the cunt/You are his slave for all eternity /Jabba the cuck/You will die of old age in chains for him/Jabba the cunt".
Personally, I can't wait to hear more from these guys, with songs like "'I Have The High Ground"', 'Hayden Christensen Is A Terrible Actor', '"So this is how deathcore dies… with thunderous applause"', 'Luke Had Better Not Die In Episode VIII', and '"I Find Your Lack Of Riffs Disturbing"'. (Please note, none of those are actual songs from The Senate; they're just shitty titles I thought up right on the spot with about half a second of thought put into each of them. Cheers).
