Yep, this one has been a long time coming.

Breaking a suspiciously long release silence, Earth Caller's fresh new tune 'Fall' is the very first slice from the band's upcoming full-length record, 'Crystal Death', which will be the follow-up to 2015's 'Degenerate' - an album that I still very much enjoy two years on.

Showing off some Stray From The Path and Comeback Kid flavours, a short but sweet guest spot from one Sophie Jest to flesh out the bridge, and armed with a kick-ass and anthemic chorus, Earth Caller don't over complicate matters. Instead, they've doubled down on their simplistic yet groovy and impactful hardcore/metalcore sound, and it works well. With maybe the exception of the song 'Degenerate' as well as 'The Great Divide', this has to be one of the most emotional songs that Earth Caller and frontman Josh Collard have penned to date, detailing one fucking messy breakup; one whose scars will be felt by both parties for a long time yet I feel. Touchy interpersonal issues aside, such experiences often beget solid music/art and this is one such scenario.

'Crystal Death' (which is a very... interesting album title methinks) will drop later this year - no locked in release date has been given just yet - but for now, 'Fall' will be more than sufficient. Stream it and its music video below, fam.
