Look, it's cold as fuck in Victoria right now but this new Bare Bones track, 'Thick As Thieves', is really helping to keep me warm.

Resist Records have just recently and quite proudly welcomed Sydney noisemakers Bare Bones into their folds, under whom the quintet will release their debut album, 'Bad Habits' on May 19th.

After the band's first two EP releases, ‘Villians’ and ‘Cut Throat Living’, this newly announced record has been a long time coming and the band have dropped their first taste of this debut album with new single, 'Thick As Thieves'. The three and a half-minute track sees Bare Bones displaying consistent energetic grooves, sweet riffs, a very tasty solo, confident swagger and their usual visceral recklessness. Business as usual, yes, but man, business is doing well.

Now, when signing with the iconic Australian heavy music label that is Resist Records, Bare Bones expressed their excitement by saying:

"Each one of us cut our teeth in a scene that was pioneered by punk and hardcore bands under the Resist banner, so in that regard Resist has been held in such high esteem by all of us for more than a decade. Being asked to be part of the Resist family was extremely humbling, and feels like the perfect label for what Bare Bones is about."

Stream 'Thick As Thieves' below, and you can pre-order 'Bad Habits' here or through Bandcamp here.

Man, A Ghost Orchestra and Bare Bones should really tour together at some point. That shit would be fucking WILD!
