AM//PM - a brand new emo party for you all Sydney goers.

Sydney collective The Neighbourhood will be making their return to the cities club circuit next month with the announcement of a brand new monthly alternative/rock/emo night - AM//PM.

Coming to Oxford Street mainstay venue, The Burdekin, this monthly music nostalgic trip is launching with a Good Friday Eve party on April 13th. The event will allow punters to relive the golden era of emo music (The Get Up Kids or GTFO). But aside from reinvigorating the memories of punters teen years - for better or for worse - AM//PM will also act as a brand new space for live shows. Which may just be the prime time to get into that side of the cities nightlife, what with the fucking nutcase that is Mike Baird exiting the state's premiere seat this year.

As stated before, AM//PM's inaugural event is on the Good Friday Eve, and will host the final ever 18+ show for Sydney pop-punk outfit Our Past Days, who will be joined by Melbourne's Between You And MeRumours and Whatever, Forever rounding out a solid lineup of melodic hooks and angst. Plus, the (apparent) scene legends of Norman, Dawson, Mikey and Steve Zappa will be up on decks evoking mass singalongs to old-school favourites from material from AlexisonfireBlink-182, Fall Out BoyThe Used, and any other band that was in Blunt's poster magazine in the last decade.

AM//PM is brought to you by The Neighbourhood - Toby Bramley, Dawson Michaels and Thomas Milgate - three scene veterans who have been behind some of Sydney's most famous/infamous club nights and festival afterparties of the past ten years, bringing both loved bands and countless guest DJ sets through the NSW capital.
