In March 2017, Pennsylvania's Balance And Composure will embark on their largest Australian tour, playing in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane in support of their latest album, 'Light We Made'.

The last time the band stepped foot on Aussie soil was back in 2014 when they supported their mates in La Dispute (who haven't toured here since now that I think about it). Produced by Will Yip, the moody 'Light We Made' was Balance And Composure’s most challenging release thus far, with the record's preference for smooth synth, electronic elements, restrained drumming and dreamy guitars and vocals leading the charge over the far more powerful rock soundscape approach that defined their earlier albums.

Which was a rather bold move, and something that our very own Owen Morawitz found to be quite hit and miss in our initial review of the record, saying "Ultimately, ‘Light We Made’ isn’t a bad record, it’s just a mediocre one. The ten tracks on offer here are devoid of the spark and energy that once made Balance And Composure such an exciting and compelling act. This transition seems wholly intentional on the part of the group, however, time will tell whether it leads to further success or a period of darkness on an otherwise bright career." However, we all remain quite confident that a lot of those new songs - such as 'Call It Losing Touch', 'Spinning', and 'Loam' will all go down a real treat live!

Check out the tour dates below and tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 14th at 9am local time via Destroy All Lines. RSVP at the event's page here.
