As it turns out, Alexisonfire will have two Aussies and an international support opening up for them on their Australian 2017 tour.

Alexisonfire is a band that needs no introduction, and before they touch down in Australia next year for their first headline tour in five years, their support line-up has just been dropped. That announcement features three bands - two nationals, and one international - and that is The Getaway Plan, Behind Crimson Eyes and The Dirty Nil.

So obviously, the main name to pick out of there for better or for worse is Melbourne's Behind Crimson Eyes, who will be fresh from a four-year hiatus. And shit, their first return tour is with Alexisonfire who are also on their very own returning Australian tour? Nice. It's time to see how well songs like 'Shakedown' have aged over the years.

Now, The Getaway Plan have been mainstays of the local scene for years now and they are indeed a solid pick for this tour, especially with their earlier output. The remaining band on the bill is, of course, fellow Canada and Dine Alone Records label mates, The Dirty Nil, and this will mark the group's first ever Australian tour.

Those three support bands, excluding Behind Crimson Eyes, will also be performing at Unify Gathering next year in January. Check out the tour dates for Alexisonfire's headline run below and you can nab your tickets for it here and here.
