Yep, you read that right, old mate Hevy Devy is coming back to Australia next May with the Devin Townsend Project.
Yep, you read that right, old mate Hevy Devy is coming back to Australia next May with the Devin Townsend Project.
As the name suggests, the band is obviously the brainchild of frontman Devin Townsend, and their latest metal offering was 'Transcendence' back in September of this year (and it wasn't half bad). To celebrate the initial success of their new record (their first ARIA charting album, hitting #10 in its first week in the charts) and to appease the ever-turning touring cycle, Townsend and co. are returning to Australia and New Zealand in May 2017, presented by MJR Presents.
The last time that Townsend and his crew were here was back in 2015 for a string of sold-out dates, and despite the project only dating back to 2009, audiences are going to be getting a whole host of new songs and plenty of "oldies". Well, that's if they go to the tour that is. If you are, then you're in luck as the full dates below and tickets can be found here. (Note: a fan pre-sale goes live on November 16th at 10am and the general sale lands on Friday, November 18th).
