The Front Bottoms just got a really solid national act to support them on their 2017 Australian run; Adelaide's very own, The Hard Aches.

Current JJJ faves, The Hard Aches (pictured above) will open up for US indie rockers The Front Bottoms on all of their Australian dates in January 2017. And honestly, these self-confessed "slacker punks" are a solid pick for this support slot by all accounts.

The Aussie duo consists of drummer Alex Upton and guitarist Ben David, (never trust someone with two first names) and these two are quite relentless when it comes to playing live. The local pair are actually fresh from their very own (mostly) sold out 'I Freak Out' EP national tour, and with their DIY mindset, they'll play anywhere and fucking everywhere they can, from bedrooms, backyards to carparks, cow fields and beyond. If you're unfamiliar with the band, then check out one of their more recent singles, 'Glad That You're Gone' here. Fans of The Smith Street Band and Luca Brasi will feel right at home with these dudes!

The Front Bottoms’ latest album, 'Back On Top!' was released in September 2015 by Fueled By Ramen, and you can check out the full list of tour dates below. Grab your tickets for this killer tour right here.
