Bullet For My Valentine are closing out 2016 in a damned good fashion with their brand new single, 'Don't Need You'.

Hot off the heels of their recent Australian tour with Cane Hill and Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine have just dropped a brand new single - 'Don't Need You'. And it's ace!

Aside from the prominent string section in the song's intro and choruses, this track is like the best of 'Fever' and 'Venom' put together and that is only ever a good thing. Also, the heavier vocals and emphasis on screaming here makes this new song a very pleasant surprise for a long time Bullet fan such as myself. BFMV's frontman Matt Tuck said that the track is "...heavy, it’s dark, it’s super-epic, it’s signature Bullet and I think when people hear it they’ll lose their shit. We love it, and I think it’s a hint of where the band is going next.”

Well, he's not wrong there, and if this more or less what their sixth album will sound like, then sign me the fuck up!

Directed by Ville Jurrikkala (Nightwish, Michael Monroe), ‘Don’t Need You’ shows you how not to have a wedding and how not to keep things sane and peaceful and you can check out it below. Oh, and if you missed the band's most recent Aussie tour you can read our live review and gaze lovingly at some photos from their sold-out show in Melbourne right here. It was a time and a half, we assure you.
