jacob Release New Song, 'you're not that cool'

jacob have just put out a brand new song and yes, the lower case is always intended!

The quintet's new song, 'you're not that cool' is the sixth song taken from the band's debut album that will be coming out on November 25th, with more details on the record coming soon. Now, considering how solid their last release was, the 'keep growing old' EP, this new one makes me all kinds of keen.

On the new track's music video, the band said that it's "a homage to all of our favourite 80's boy bands (we are pretty big fans of new kids on the block!)" Well, I think the above shot establishes that well enough. Just look at those white pants, for god's sake!

Anyway, in typical jacob fashion, this new song is a catchy, upbeat emo/alternative track that is over almost as soon as it starts. Much like their terrific single 'i'. Pre-orders for the album will be up shortly as well as a handful of NSW shows that are going to follow the record's release, with hopefully a few more tours in the not too distant future.
