While She Sleeps Drop 'Civil Isolation'

The last time we saw music from While She Sleeps was their 2015 album 'Brainwashed' (which I really liked at the time), and now the band is back on the airwaves with 'Civil Isolation'.

The new track is the usual fast, vehement modern metalcore sound the band's renowned for, with some nice melodic hooks thrown in. Ultimately, the breakdown at the end is arguably the highlight of the song. However, while the track is indeed pretty solid, I can't really say the same for its accompanying lyric video.

See, the video is rather boring, simply showing the band (well, presumedly) watching a city under siege from various explosions from a safe distance, with some terrible CG fire effects that you'd expect to see in a Syfy original movie. Of course, it is a lyric video after all, so I can kinda excuse it, as it's just simply for promotional purposes as this point.

Honestly, and I don't know why, but I thought of this lyric video as an alternate perspective to Rise Against's 'Re-Education (Through Labour)' music video. Though that's probably just me so ignore my ramblings and stream the new song below.

Also, as for a new album from ol' Sleeps, their website is currently counting down to September 12th, so expect a new video/tour/album announcement to drop then.
