It seems that Invasion Fest just got a whole lot heavier this week, but also, a little bit more alternative as well.

Perth's Iconoclast will be making the trip from out West to lay down some of the heaviest tunes of the day for Invasion Fest (well, that may be jumping the gun a little, as there's still more bands to be announced).

Even still, Iconoclast will most likely be one of the heavier inclined bands playing, alongside Melbourne's Sentinel, who's final show will be their set at Invasion Fest after announcing they'd be breaking up/going on indefinite hiatus earlier this year. They're bound to be one of biggest draw cards of the day, and I look forward to their killer one-off reunion show come Invasion Fest 2020.

Now, those announcements all came over the course of this past week. Just tonight, however, Melbourne's alternative rockers, Harbours, were announced as the sixth band for the gig, a band that's really been doing the rounds lately.
