Huh, so much for that "last ever tour", aye Alexisonfire? It's okay, we still love you.

Alexisonfire, the reunited post-hardcore band that always shows you should never say 'never', have announced a string of Australian tour dates for January 2017.

Of course, these headlining tour dates booked around their headline appearance at Unify Gathering 2017, but I ain't complaining - it's Alexisonfire, for Christ's sakes! This will be the band's first headline tour in Australia in over four years, which will be supported by fellow Unify act The Dirty Nil, and I for one ain't missing out on this tour!

Shit, the last time I saw them was Soundwave Festival 2010 so my "Hype Gauge" is going into overdrive right now.

Anyway, enough of my own BS. Chugg Entertainment pre-sale tickets go live on Friday, August 12th, and general sale goes live on Monday, August 15th at 9am local time. Get those browsers and wallets ready, people! Check out the tour dates for their first non-festival headline tour since their farewell tour below and get absolutely keen to see 'Boiled Frogs' and hopefully 'Accept Crime' live!
