Come on, we all knew this was the case.

Sigh.

When we reported yesterday about the mysterious, "cryptic" video that was shared on My Chemical Romance's socials, one such outcome I mentioned was that we could be looking at a re-release of 'The Black Parade' of some kind. Well, turns out that that's actually the case and we can all move the fuck on our with our lives!

On September 23rd, it seems we'll be getting a ten-year anniversary edition of sorts of 'The Black Parade', and I'm guessing it'll just be a CD/DVD package alongside some B-sides, bonus tracks. Rumours abound that this release will also feature an alternative version of their seminal record, as the band went all out on it back in '06, but it's anybody's guess until more info comes out (if it ever does before September).

A statement from the band was shared across the band's various social media accounts in response to the Internet's heavy breathing and excitement of late, saying that it's "only a release for the anniversary of The Black Parade". Cheers.

As you can imagine, a lot of fans are rather PISSED! Sure, the band or their management never said that it would be a reunion tour, but come on, what other conclusion did they think people would jump to when a cryptic clip for such a beloved band like My Chemical Romance would be released online?

Honestly, fuck you MCR. Fuck you for making me feel things again and for making me overthink this whole situation.

Still love ya, though.
