The track is about the high and mighty way in which many selfish individuals view themselves in, and the band's complete lack of fucks given for those elitists and those attitudes. As the lyrics put it, 'A self-absorbed population of scum'. Metal.

The music video's director, James Foster, comments on the project:

“At this point in our career and as we grow older, we are taking a more open-minded approach to creating our music, allowing what we think sounds good to evolve naturally, rather than to just write what is expected of us.”

Good song, though.
