To quote Zero Punctuation’s Yahtzee Croshaw, that's a “Richard Relocation”. AKA a dick move, mate.

Honestly, the footage that has come up over the weekend is pretty cringe-worthy to watch for me personally, as I happen to really enjoy both Skindred's and Babymetal's music. It just seems really pathetic on Webbe's part and just had me eye-rolling immensely, as whether you like the Japanese band or not, it's pretty fucking disrespectful.

Webbe, who can be seen standing on the right side of the stage, interrupts the Japanese bands lead singer, Su-Metal, pretty much straight away as she delivers their acceptance speech.

Since the Awards ceremony, Webbe did apologise, more or less, through Twitter. I've linked those Tweets in below, as he apparently meant no disrespect, and that Babymetal themselves may not be upset about it as the rest of us are.

Look, as idiotic as this whole situation is, it'll probably just be a small footnote in both of these band's careers and will most likely be forgotten about it a couple weeks.

Yes, I have seen the irony in writing all of this, but it's my goddamn post, so there!
