In case you’ve been living under a very, very big rock, Blink-182 are back and they're now set to release their new album on July 1st.

Only a month out from their first release since the departure of Tom DeLonge, 'California' is available from July 1st. The most recent single to be dropped is 'Rabbit Hole' and it’s a nice throwback to the classic Blink-182 sound with aggressive drums, groove-filled guitar chords, catchy as hell choruses, and clocking in at just over 2 and half minutes. The shorter, the better!

The new single follows on the back of the 'Bored To Death', and the short and sweet (as well as hilarious), 'Built This Pool'. Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba (who also fronts the excellent Alkaline Trio) trade off vocal takes throughout the song, giving a great feeling and remaining true to their classic tunes, in which Hoppus and DeLonge would fuel teenage angst across the world. The song deals with the haunting that may cause a long, sleepless night, which they defiantly resolve with the chorus, “I won’t fall down that fucking rabbit hole”. Rather fitting, considering the insane amount of hype around the band currently.

The last time the band was in Australia was for Soundwave 2013, and for now, your only choice may be to fly over to America and catch them alongside The All-American Rejects, All Time Low, A Day To Remember and DJ Spider (whoever the hell that is).
