Melbourne's wonderfully dark and weird Dregg have just released their new single, 'Sorry Daddy'. It really is quite something.

Musically, Dregg are one of these nu-metal/hardcore crossover acts that are all the rage nowadays except they are, you know, actually good.

This single from the five-piece is a vicious middle finger to the everyday folks and media who blame the current generation and youth for a whole host of societal issues. Issues that began long before said generation was around to create or take part in these problems. Now that's kinda unfair, ain't it? But whether you agree with them or not, you can't deny that Dregg sticks out from the crowd with a film clip like this. Seriously, just look at it!

We suppose we now know where this photo from a few weeks back came from...

Dregg 2016

Face paint, make-up, eye contacts, makeshift masks, a deeply political tone, and some tight grooves are just another day in the life of Dregg, it seems. Make sure to keep your eyes on these guys in 2016 as their next release is sure to be on its way.

If the band has flown under your radar until now, you can check out their debut EP, 'No Comment', here.

Also, we would probably watch a lot more mainstream news channels with presenters like vocalist Christopher Mackertich and Glenn Romano on T.V.
