The tour announcements just keep rolling in! Sydney's Thy Art Is Murder will be dragging their coffin (get it?) on the road this July and August for one hell of an Australian tour.

After a host of international touring, the boys will be giving what may be one of their last tours for the 'Holy War' album cycle, with the newly announced shows heading to a bunch of regional areas along with the usual city stop-offs. Now, as for that whole vocalist business, Triple J' The Racket host, Lochlan Watt, is still the band's current vocalist for the time being, and that ain't a bad thing, mind you. It'll be interesting to see if he remains as the vocalist full-time...

Anyway, guitarist Andy Marsh said this about this Australian iteration of their Coffin Dragger (easily one of the better songs taken from 'Holy War') tour:

“This is the third iteration of the coffin dragger The idea being to drag death (metal {lol}) around the world to places we've never been before. The US leg saw us go to many states we'd never seen before, Europe we are going as Far East as Transylvania and now the Australian leg will see us play a whole bunch of regional towns, some we've never done, and others we've neglected for quite some time.”

Of course, it's not just Thy Art on this bill - they ain't Bruce Springsteen, after all - and so the band will joined by two of the heaviest bands in the Australia right now - Graves and I, Valiance. That caps off one intense bill of bands!
