GWAR book banned by Corrections facility

Posting via Facebook, the metal veterans shared a note from the Commonwealth of Virginia - Department of Corrections, which outlined that their book - 'Let There Be Gwar' - had been banned within the facility.

GWAR are to provocative, as AFL is to us Aussies. So, it's no surprise that the band has received some further attention (perhaps, notoriety) this week.

Posting via Facebook, the metal veterans shared a note from the Commonwealth of Virginia - Department of Corrections, which outlined that their book - 'Let There Be Gwar' - had been banned within the facility.

...The reason, you ask? Observed in the correspondence, the letter states, "[this issue (book)] could be detrimental to the security and good order of the institution."

So, unless you're planning on moving to Virginia, and equally planning on undertaking some less than civil activities, then this ban is going to be of no consequence. Either way, we anticipate Amazon is going to see a small spike in GWAR book sales over the weekend.
