A man of many (evident) artistic talents, Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe has turned his attention from the stage to the big screen, with the musician writing a new film with Billy Bob Thornton.

Blythe has already revealed his prowess with words, having written a personal, confronting and articulate memoir, 'Dark Days', about his previous incarceration in a European jail. Equally, the singer is also hoping to write a novel.

Posting via Instagram, Blythe observed the new film project entitled, 'You, Me And A '63'. The project is co-written with Billy Bob Thornton and Rob Fenn, and will also be narrated by Thornton.

"Today is such a special day for me! I get to officially let you know what the hell ‘You, Me And A 63’ actually is. I am making a film with the iconic Billy Bob Thornton. Sit back and let that crazy shit set in…This film will not only star Marilyn (My 1963 Ford Thunderbird) and myself, but it will also be narrated by Billy Bob Thornton. This film will show my journey down Historic Route 66 that has me cross paths with many of my musical influences along the way," Blythe comments.
