While their popularity is already indisputable, Deftones have nevertheless received further proof of their acclaim, with the band's latest album, 'Gore', coming in at #1 on the ARIA Charts. Moreover, it marks the band's first number one debut in Australia.

While their popularity is already indisputable, Deftones have nevertheless received further proof of their acclaim, with the band's latest album, 'Gore', coming in at #1 on the ARIA Charts. Moreover, it marks the band's first number one debut in Australia.

The band's previous highest entry was with 'White Pony', which landed at #2 on the ARIA Charts in 2000, while the group's predecessor release, 'Koi No Yokan', charted at #16 in 2012.

"I think we’ve always tried to look for new ideas and sounds because you don’t want to try and box yourself in sonically," keyboardist/sampler Frank Delgado told us about 'Gore' recently.
