Swedish metal outfit Ghost have justified their recent acclaim, with the Scandinavians winning a GRAMMY for 'Best Metal Performance' at this year's awards.
The band claimed the recognition for their track 'Cirice', which is taken from 2015's' 'Meliora'. Nominated in the category were fellow peers August Burns Red, Lamb of God, Sevendust, and Slipknot.
“Thank you so much for this. This is a big, big thing for us. You know a nightmare has just turned into a dream. Thank you all for that. Thank you to everyone involved for voting. Now, go party," Papa Emeritus III said, as quoted by Loudwire.
"‘Meliora‘ is the perfect equilibrium of heaviness and melody that Ghost have been trying to achieve for the past five years." - Killyourstereo.com album review.
