The original story from the band is below and, as you'd expect, it's just a damn unfortunate thing to happen mid-tour. One that happens all too frequently.

"On the evening of February 5th, a day off from tour, we stopped half way through our 10 hour drive in Atlanta Georgia to have dinner with friends and family. We parked, only for a couple hours on a well lit main road in a business and restaurant district. We came out to discover that in that short time our van had been broken into and all of our personal affects had been stolen. We don't believe we were targeted, and it seems like a smash and grab especially given the well lit and busy location of the van. That being said the band and crew lost electronics, clothing, money and personal items as a result of the break in. Police were called and a report was filed, but as a lot of you know this will not be "solved" and no real justice will be served.

We are well aware of the risks of bringing expensive items on the road with us, however each of us run businesses and have work outside the band that we must still conduct on the road which is the only reason we were traveling with expensive electronic items such as laptops, iPads, GoPros, etc. We take every precaution possible to ensure this doesn't ever happen, but the reality is sometimes there is nothing that can be done.

So in this extreme time of need we turn you all you who have stood by us, sang with us, and know our bands heart. We have no desire or plans of leaving this tour, but we do need help. We have totaled up the losses and are going to start chipping away at the damage done. Anything will help. If you don't have the means to donate money, please repost about this on your socials and use the Internet for more then just liking a photo today. Word of mouth/internet can be very powerful.

As always we will take this to fuel us and keep moving. We are grateful that no one is hurt and that what was taken from us was just stuff, and stuff can be replaced.

Thank you in advance for any help you can spare. We will see everyone at a gig on this amazing tour. Gonna need extra loud voices and lots of high fives from everyone.

I believe in you if you believe in me

However, some times when the world taketh away, it gives back. Fans have since pitched in and (so far) covered almost $11,285 of their initial $10K GoFundMe goal to help recoup the cost of the business and personal items that were stolen. It hit the goal in less than 24 hours.

Good on you, Vanna fans.
