Norwegian favourites Kvelertak have entered the studio to begin work on their new studio album.

The record will mark a follow-up to 2013's 'Meir' and represent the band's third studio album.

Subsequently, this week, the Scandinavians released a collection of photos (view below), which observe the record's commencement at Oslo's Amper Tone Studio.

"We grew tired of recording to a click track and the intense scrutiny and attention to detail that follows. We've done nothing but play live since 2010 so it makes sense to record live as well," Kvelertak told Rolling Stone recently.
